Brides! Want to know how I made all of our wedding florals for only $388 and saved over $3100?
Since today is the first day of Prime Day I wanted to share this hack with you so you can take advantage of any extra prime day deals!
I have never really liked fake florals because I always thought that they looked too fake. So why did I choose to go with fake florals for our wedding?
Two reasons, I had a particular vision in mind, I wanted to combine the western/boho styles with some springtime/colorful styles. I talked to several florists and none seemed to be on the same track that I was, I also couldn't a single inspirational picture that I liked that I could use to show the florists. It seemed if I wanted what I had in mind I had to make them myself. The second reason is the prices. With over 40% of wedding vendors raising their prices in 2023, and florists with the most significant increase due to supply chain issues, I was scared of the quotes I would receive. When I finally got a base quote for over $4000, without going into many floral details I started researching fake florals. I ended up making all of the florals included in the $4000 quote for $388. If you're scared of the floral-making process, don't be. It was not nearly as bad as I had expected it to be, just time-consuming. So if you're considering making your own fake florals, I highly recommend it, don't worry about researching the best brands of fake florals, I have done that for you.
